Little Emily's Mom of 12 years became very ill and was no longer able to care for her. They had been inseparable for Emily's whole life. Emily was really sad when first rescued, but has now come to realize that her foster family loves her and she is now living comfortably with them, while she waits for a new home. Emily wants nothing more from you but some snuggle time each day, yummy treats and a soft warm bed to lay her head down at night. She is a very quiet girl who would adapt to apartment living or a home with a nice yard would also be great. Emily prefers the company of older children to live with but if the younger grandkids visit every now and then she will be happy with that as well. Just as long as they go home at some point.
