Life was looking pretty grim for Button in November of 2014. He found himself dumped at the shelter, and had a raging infection in his mouth. He could not even lift his head to say hello. He was scooped up by a volunteer with Blue Dog Rescue and taken immediately to the vet, for care. What the vet found was rotten teeth and two nasal fistula's. All of his teeth needed to be removed (some of them just fell out with a light pull) and skin grafts were done to fix the two fistula's. He then went home with his foster family for several weeks of antibiotics and rest. Button has now made a full recovery, is happily playing with toys, his foster buddies and eating soft food. He has a new leash on life and would really love a new home that will cherish him.
