Little Claire was in horrible shape, when she was rescued at a rural shelter. She was covered in ticks and fleas and only weighed six pounds. A trip to the vet for an exam and blood work found that she does have erlickea and needs to gain about four pounds. She is now being treated for the erlickea, and starting to gain weight. We are hoping she can be spayed and micro chipped in about a month, if her health continues to improve. She is a little trooper, and is already feeling so much better. Blue Dog can also use donations to help cover the costs of her medical bills.
