Riley came to Blue Dog Rescue from Austin Animal Center -- just another skinny, stray pup trying to survive on his own. Now that he's joined his foster family he is learning how great it is to have love, support and playtime with the humans and dogs who live with him. Turns out that he's a very smart boy who wants to be a part of every activity. Riley loves to fetch and has mastered sit and down in a short period of time. He is quickly learning social puppy skills that he missed out on when he was younger and his foster family is very proud of his success. Because of his enthusiastic energy, Riley will do best in a home with children over the age of eight. He bonds well with humans and dogs, and thrives on structure and lots of activities.
