Rosy was rescued by a good Samaritan from the side of a highway. She was covered in ticks and fleas and had a pretty bad skin infection from that infestation. A vet visit then determined that she was also heartworm positive. Rosy joined the Blue Dog pack and started treatment for her skin infection and the heartworms right away. Once the heartworm treatment is complete, she will be ready to search for her forever family who can give her all the love and care she deserves. This will hopefully be sometime in late December or early January. Rosy is a young girl who survived her first year and a half on her own. She is a spunky, bright pup who likes to hang with her family, snuggle into a lap or cozy blanket and check the yard for squirrels during potty breaks. Keep an eye out for Rosy! She's going to make some lucky family very complete.
