Sophie is a 2 ½ to 3-year-old Bull Terrier with a sweet and loving personality. She is playful, curious, and devoted to her new foster family. Sophie is a recent mom who has been busy raising a beautiful, confident puppy; but is ready to move on and become a special girl on her own. Because of the last few stressful weeks, Sophie developed a skin condition called demodex mange. Now that she is in a loving home with yummy food and treats, medication, and lots of hugs and belly rubs, she is quickly responding to treatment and is on the road to recovery. In a few short weeks she will have a beautiful coat of white and brindle fur to finish out an adorable 38-pound package of sweetness and energy. Sophie is a very social companion dog, a good leash walker, house trained, and crate trained. She enjoys car rides and walks around Lady Bird Lake
