Meet Hanke. (That’s Hank with a silent E.) Hanke’s a dream come true for that special family wanting a loving, well-mannered, house-trained pup who gets along with humans and dogs both large and small. One look in his soulful eyes tells you he’s something special. Hanke’s a 45 pound Beagle / Terrier mix, around a year old (maybe a little younger), neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He came to Blue Dog as a stray, rescued from under a trailer where he was tangled in mesh fencing and debris. He had an injured leg and numerous scrapes and abrasions from his experience on the road; but is on the mend and ready for his next adventure. And let’s just say, he prefers the next adventure to be with a family who will make sure he has a great time and stays safe.
